saturday was a wonderful experience-a day filled with art, culture, beauty,  family & friends.
dia de los muertos has so many beautiful aspects-the marigold is used to guide the spirits back to earth-butterflies symbolize loved ones returning.
we came with old memories and left with new ones-can’t wait for next year!

i did an art show at barndall art park yesterday. a beautiful venue, hidden smack in the middle of hollywood. inspite of a lot of southern california up in flames-it was a lovely day (thank goodness there was no wind in hollywood!)
