i recently did the contemporary craft market in santa monica. i meet  a lot of interesting people at shows-  art, mediums, materials are usual topics of conversation. the vintage textile collage market is extremely small- so when i meet someone who not only appreciates but is knowledgeable about the fabrics, materials & history used in my pieces- it is wonderful!

i just aquired this lovely piece and wanted to share.  it’s a fabulous victorian beaded shelf decoration-i’m not sure how i’ll use it-but i most definitely  will. for the time being- i’m just enjoying looking at it in it’s place of honor in my studio.
