it’s been a busy couple of days-it felt like i was on the freeways of so cal the entire weekend. i’m putting up my feet for a few minutes this afternoon-reveling in” good tired.” my husband and the 2 younger girls, betty & oreo, took off to visit our daughter jilly in san diego on sat. our adventure began bright and early, we left at 7am . we stopped at the central bark dogpark in irvine, to let betty, the girl with endless energy, burn a little off. when we got to san diego we all went ot the off leash dog park in ocean beach. jilly’s boyfriend and his boxer lecai joined us-everyone had a blast! we all came home sandy, wet and tired-but happy.
this morning i left early for the pcc flea market-one of my favorites. of course i found treasures-among my finds were some wonderful teeny tiny antique tin types-about 1″ x1″. after the swapmeet i was off to the gallery in venice, after the westside i made my way to studio city-where my oldest daughter and my mom live. whew!
i’ve finished up my canvasas for the topanga artwalk-where i’ve been invited as a guest artist. these will be available at the silent auction at the topanga gallery on june 13th 5-8pm. (for more info you can go to my website/events for more details.http://www.turkeyred.com/events.html)
