Create your own textile collage with REDS!
We’ll use an assortment of antique, vintage and reproduction fabrics-
floral’s, turkeyred damask, Victorian red work, and more.
In the spirit of the Victorian era, we will be doing all work by hand-
construction, appliqué, embroidery, quilting and beading.

SAT JULY 27 6PM-9PM PASADENA BEAD AND DESIGN SHOW
This textile-embellished heart is reminiscent of an antique devotional.
We’ll start off with a fabric heart and appliqué a image of an antique holy card-which we will highlight with fabric paint.
The next step will be to appliqué antique and vintage lace, and blend fabric paints to create a vintage look. You’ll learn how to make handmade fabric beads and fringe from lace & thread.

Fri July 27 6pm-9pm
Create a original assemblage using beads, fabric, antique and found objects.
You’ll learn how to make a “nest” from wire, fabric, lace and beads . We willgive an antique doll a new life as a “nestling”.
